Digital Woven Pattern Design

Toile de Pinup Hand drawn repeat pattern design formatted digitally and woven on a Jacquard loom. The use of a traditional Toile De Jouy with the Americana Pin-up looks at objectification and the shifting standards of beauty.

Rorschach Repeat patterns digitally designed, drawn, and woven using a computer aided Dobby Loom. This loom uses a twill threading in which the pattern naturally reflects and has a symmetry that reminded me of Rorschach’s Ink blots.
